About Me

Bridging biotechnology and software development to accelerate scientific discovery

I am a research scientist passionate about leveraging technology to revolutionize humanity's future. With over 10 years of self-taught programming experience, I specialize in designing web, mobile, and desktop applications that advance biological sciences.

At the National Agricultural Research Laboratories (NARL) in Kawanda, Uganda, I work as a genome engineer, where I developed the first gene-edited East African Highland bananas using CRISPR/Cas9 technology, differential gene expression analysis, molecular cloning, HPLC analysis, and microbiology techniques.

My mission is to contribute to Africa's growing biotechnology industry by developing bioinformatics software and computational pipelines for drug design, vaccine development, and genome engineering.
